| WELCOME Phi Delta Theta Alumni! |
Dear Alumni,
My name is Stephen Fisher and I am the Alumni secretary for the newly refounded Kent State Ohio Lambda Chapter. I was born in Massillon Ohio, was in the Spring '09 Phikeia Class, and am a sophmore in the Fashion Merchandising and Marketing program here at Kent State University. I hope to graduate in 2011 and pursue a career in the merchandising and marketing business side of the apparel industry.
As the new Alumni Secretary, my main goal is to ecourage a lot of the alumni to come around the house more often, whether it be for scheduled events, a game of pool between some of the brothers , or even just a night at the bars downtown. I believe that as a newly reformed chapter, the support of the alumni is crucial at this point in time as we are trying to build it up to what it was before and can definately use the wisdom, help and brotherhood of our alumni base. I also would like get the alumni base involved in the initiation process , now that we are an official chapter again and can perform the Rituals and ceremonies that are so important to our brotherhood. Also , if you could please email or mail me anything that you believe will help us cultivate the communication between the chapter and alumni, that would be wonderful.I am putting together an Alumni newsletter and could really use the information. This could include contact info of fellow brothers, pictures or stories from your time in the chapter (us newer guys love seeing and hearing stories about the older guys and the stuff they did) examples of previous news letters, important news of fellow Phi's involving their family, work, or relationships, or anything else that you think might be interesting to have included in a newsletter that will go out to all of the alumni
